Like all adventures that I embark on, the open road (or open river) has always inspired what I create. Seeing new places fuels the creative juices within me. It sparks something in my body and makes me feel alive. Bringing a camera along is just an outlet for me to freeze those memories that are made along the journey.
When I photograph I like to blend in. People are naturally shy when a camera is pointed at them causing them to become stiff or nervous. They often try to pose or make a silly face instead of just acting natural. I have found that candid moments make a much better photograph than a posed moment. I rarely try to set up a situation, rather, I try to predict what is going to happen.
