;Somewhere between put-in and take-out, life slows waaaaaayyyyy down. For most of us, the chance to chill out and catch some rays all day is a welcome reprieve from everyday life. For Bryan Fox, Griffin Post, and Angel Collinson, this is not necessarily a welcome or easy change of pace… especially without a class 5 rapid in sight.
How do you pass the time? Thumb wrestling, impromptu guitar lessons, campsite cooking classes, and a DIY slip-n-slide session. And the types of off-color, inappropriate jokes that you can only get after 8 hours in the raft floating down the Ruby Horsethief section of the Colorado River. The effects? Even our snow athletes realize that slowing down ain't so bad as long as good times are at the helm.
