Announcing the SmartWool Run Athletes
Summer trail running season is in full swing and we’re excited to announce the SmartWool Athlete roster, made up of some of the boldest runners in the sport.
Meet the Team:
An ultrarunning legend, Darcy Piceu is a three-time champion of the grueling Hardrock 100 in San Juan Mountains of southern Colorado.
A former elite triathlete and collegiate 1,500m runner at Butler University, Rob Krar won the 2014 Western States Endurance Run and Leadville Trail 100. Krar holds the rim-to-rim-to-rim fastest known time at the Grand Canyon and the course record at the Moab Red Hot 55k.
Outside TV has called Tim Olson “one of the most prolific professional trail runners of this generation.” Olson has made the prestigious Western States Endurance Run his canvas, winning the 100-miler twice and setting the course record. Olson owns and operates Run Mindful Retreats.
Jason Schlarb is a former winner of the Run Rabbit Run 100-miler and North Face Endurance Challenge, and finished fourth at the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc in 2014. One half of the team behind Schlarb Wolf Productions, Schlarb travels the world, documentingtrail-running adventures from Patagonia to the Italian Dolomites.
We’re not the only ones excited about this team. Check out what Boulder Running Company has to say.
